Mental Health

Through a new psychology service available at Ungooroo Aboriginal Corporation we are addressing issues of social isolation, home confinement, economic uncertainty and other factors affecting our mental wellbeing. This service, provided by Dr Gail MacDonell (OAM RN PhD MAPS), has been made possible through support from the BHP Vital Resource fund.

Issues of mental wellbeing are not new but are certainly being compounded by the uncertainty that the COVID19 virus brings. Our psychology services are now available to Ungooroo patients and clients. Please be aware that an eligibility criteria applies.

For referral to our psychology services under the NDIS, please call 6571 5111 and ask to speak with a member of Ungooroo’s NDIS Team (or email the team at ndis@ungooroo.com.au).
