Aboriginal Health Services
Ungooroo offers the only dedicated Aboriginal Health Service in Singleton. We offer GP and specialist services to the community.
Our doctor (pictured left) and visiting specialists are dedicated to the health of the community and are here to assist with a range of medical issues. We also provide complementary services such as physiotherapy, optometry, dietary advice from a qualified dietician,
Our services are helping in the drive to close the gap between Indigenous health and the health of the broader community.
Endorsement
Ungooroo is proud to announce that we are officially endorsed as an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation ACCHO. We are also a member of (NACCHO) (the national body in Aboriginal Health). We are also credited as a general practice through Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL).
Bulk billing for GP services
All GP services are bulk billed. Our services are open to the general public.

We would like to encourage all our community members to come in and get their complete health check (715 health check) now. Appointments are essential so please call us. Your health check will be bulk billed and you will receive a FREE t-shirt.

- geriatric medicine and care
- workers compensation
- paediatric care
- blood collection
- child immunisation
- adult immunisation
- health assessment
- complete 715 health check
- pregnancy/ante-natal care
- wound repair.
Please note a registered nurse (RN) is required to assist with some of the above procedures. Availability may be dependent on whether an RN is available on the day.

If you have an emergency outside clinic hours, please dial 000. Alternatively the nearest hospital to Ungooroo’s office is Singleton District Hospital at Dangar Rd, Singleton NSW 2330.
