Venue: Ungooroo provides training room hire. Our venue supports training, conferences and meetings.

Transport: Our modern 12-seater bus is available for speciality trips, day tours, community events, school groups and general shuttle services.

Culture and heritage site work: Our local, experienced Culture and Heritage Field Site Work Officers engage with mines and archeologists and consult in the significance of artefacts and identified Aboriginal sites.
Health services: Our medical services provide local Aboriginal people regular access to Awabakal Medical Centre’s General Practitioners through the established surgery office at Ungooroo. We also provide optical services on site, links to Aboriginal sexual health workers and mental health practitioners, transport to dental services at Awabakal Medical Centre in Newcastle. Training, education and mentoring: Accredited and non-accredited training is provided through a variety of partnerships. We also provide education support and specialised mentoring to the Indigenous community through the ‘Way Ahead Program’ coordinated by state training services. Confirmed training days will be listed on our Events page.
Art and culture: Our promotion of local Aboriginal artists, authentic Aboriginal art and culture is evident in the art displayed at Ungooroo Aboriginal Centre. Examples of the vibrant colours and symbolism used to tell local stories can be found in our centre.
Employment opportunities: Ungooroo works closely with corporations and local businesses to connect employers with potential Indigenous candidates. Linking people and services: Because of our extensive network, Ungooroo aims to connect Indigenous people with advocacy groups and other services across the Hunter, including Aboriginal Legal Services, Compass Housing, Indigenous Business Australia (Homeownership), Business Support Services (AEDO Program), Employment and Training (NCAP Officer), Hunter Region BEC and Microenterprise loans (Many Rivers Opportunity).
